Tuberculosis and Enteroparasitosis: A Case Report

The intestinal parasites interfere in nutritional and immune status, causing secondary infections, such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This case report of a patient who presented Entamoeba histolytica/E. dispar, Ascaris lumbricoides and tuberculosis. It was accompanied by routine screening, history and physical examination. Female patient, 46 year old, complained of pain in the neck and weight loss, showed negative for VDRL and HIV 1 and 2, clinical pathology of the amygdala and hypopharynx injury with chronic granulomatous inflammation tuberculoïde. After the start of treatment reported constipation, abdominal pain, nausea. She was referred to state reference being treated with metronidazole, closed with high cure.
